You will need a 7 inch by 10 inch (18cm by 25cm) baking tray
Method
Grease the baking tray.
Melt 25 g of the butter, then add the chocolate powder and stir with a wooden spoon until molten. Remove from the heat. Beat the butter in a large mixing bowl until soft.
Beat in the caster sugar and semolina. Beat in the melted chocolate.
Sieve in the plain flour and mix the ingredients together until they form a soft dough. Press the mixture evenly into the tin. Prick over the whole surface with a fork.
Bake for 30 minutes at 160 deg C, GM 3 (140 deg C for fan ovens). Remove from the oven and with a knife score into 12 pieces. Leave to cool completely in the tin.
