Marble Brownies

A marble brownie made with a brownie and blondie recipe

We’ve taken two of our most popular recipes, our Brownies and our Blondies, and combined them to make these tasty marble brownies- getting the best of both worlds!

Ingredients:

(For the chocolate brownie part)

(For the blondie part)

Method:

(To make the brownie part)

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over a low heat and add the chocolate- stir until melted and remove from heat
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the egg with the sugar
  3. Add the melted chocolate to the mixing bowl and beat
  4. together
  5. Sift in the flour

(For the blondie part)

  1. In a separate mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugar
  2. Beat in the White Couverture Powder
  3. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time with 1tbsp of the flour
  4. Sift in the remaining amount of the flour and mix all the ingredients together
  5. Into a greased and lined tin, add both the mixtures in parts, making sure they’re mixed around
  6. Take a skewer and swirl the mixtures together to make a marble effect
  7. Bake in the oven at 180° for 20 minutes
